There are A TON of events going on this year! The Wilmington Beer Week site has a great calendar of events you can check out to see what's going on around the Wilmington area. We thought it might be helpful if we break down the events in a quick post, giving you an idea of what events are weeklong and what events are happening each day throughout the week. Check it out...

Update: We started off the Wilmington Beer Week at the Kickoff Party - what a fun time!

The Kickoff Party was "Import Inspiried" - both local and from abroad. We started the night off with Stewart's Brewing Company My New IPA and Ayinger Celebrator Dopplebock!

To take advantage of the other beers we wanted to try, we built out own flight of beers from the other great brews Iron Hill had for the Kick Off Party. We went with Punktoberfest, Munich Dunkel, Belgian Tripel, Revoution IPA Gold Digger IPA, Riverfront IPA on cask, and Oatmeal Stout on nitro.

While we were there, we tried a few appetizers to pair with the beers...

Hickory Smoked Wings with a roasted poblano glaze and cilantro lime dipping sauce.

Creamy Southwestern Chicken Dip

And the Charcuterie Plate with bratwurst, pork belly confit, clothbound and
prairie breeze cheddar, dried fruit chutney and spent grain baguette.
